In Search of Wildlife: Whale Watching
Our Whale Watching Excursion “In Search of Wildlife”
Embark on a journey designed to offer you an exceptional encounter with dolphins, whales, and sperm whales, as well as other Mediterranean wildlife, including turtles, rays, sunfish, and seabirds, all in their natural habitat.
Dolphins on a Whale Watching Boat Trip
Set off in search of wildlife, dolphins, and whales!
During this offshore adventure between Hyères and Le Lavandou, you’ll have the chance to discover cetaceans—majestic marine creatures that inhabit the waters of the Mediterranean, particularly within the Pelagos Sanctuary off the coast of the Port-Cros National Park. Departing from Bormes-les-Mimosas, we offer you a rare opportunity to observe these incredible animals in their natural environment.
Enjoy a Stopover on Porquerolles (and perhaps Port-Cros, too!)
On the way back from your excursion into the marine heart of the Port-Cros National Park, we invite you to explore its terrestrial heart. You’ll enjoy a free stopover of approximately 3 hours on the islands of Europe’s first marine park: Porquerolles (and possibly Port-Cros as well!). Take time to stretch your legs and recover from the excitement of the day.
Join us for an extraordinary adventure in search of Mediterranean cetaceans and wildlife!
Details of Our Wildlife Watching Excursion:
- Availability: Public excursions in June and September.
- Duration: Approximately 9 hours total:
- Around 4 hours searching for and observing cetaceans.
- Around 3 hours of free time on Porquerolles (or both Port-Cros and Porquerolles, depending on the route).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Reservations: To secure your spot, book now! However, keep in mind that favorable weather is essential to maximize your chances of spotting cetaceans, including dolphins and whales. Wind strength and sea conditions will determine if we can head offshore.
- Excursion Conditions: The management reserves the right to modify or cancel the excursion due to bad weather, low attendance, or technical issues. In the event of cancellation or rescheduling, you will be notified via email and SMS to reschedule your reservation or receive a refund. While we strive to provide you with an unforgettable experience, remember that nature is unpredictable. This is not a marine park—here, animals are wild and free, so don’t be surprised if they don’t appear on demand!
- What to Bring: Don’t forget your sunscreen, hat, water bottle, picnic, and camera!
- Restrictions: This excursion is strongly discouraged for children under 4 years old and pets.
